Seedling Bakery is a pursuit of good baking that is rooted in quality and guided by flavour. We started in Indore, driven by the joy of creating desserts entirely from scratch. Today, Seedling continues its journey in Thrissur, carrying forward the same ethos. Our menu offers a gentle balance of contemporary desserts and comforting classics. Each recipe is carefully crafted to highlight real flavours and hero ingredients.
Our founder, Pooja Sree, is a pastry chef with a diploma in pâtisserie from Le Cordon Bleu, London. She began her career in the pastry kitchen of a renowned hotel in Indore, producing large volumes of desserts every day. But soon she realised her interest lay in smaller boutique kitchens, where quality, precision, and creativity held greater importance. After working in several such spaces across the country, she started Seedling to build something of her own, where desserts could speak for themselves.
She is now joined by her husband Ananth, a true tech mind with a love for building systems that make life (and bakeries) run smoother. From designing our website to keeping the backend organised, Ananth helps bring structure to the creative chaos of the kitchen.
What they share is a love for good food. And together, they are building Seedling as a place where every batch is thoughtfully made from scratch.
